You're Eight Weeks Pregnant. Your embryo is about the size of a grape -- 0.56 to 0.8 inches from crown to rump. Eyelid folds and ears are forming and even the tip of the nose is visible. The arms have grown longer and bend at the elbows. Places where fingers and toes eventually will grow are becoming notched. Your uterus, once the size of your fist, is now about the size of a grapefruit. You may feel some cramping or pain in your lower abdomen or sides as your uterus tightens or contracts throughout pregnancy. These are normal but consult your doctor if cramps are accompanied by vaginal bleeding.
Well according to WebMD I seem to have a grape atm. So far everything my wife has used to describe our future baby has been in the fruit and nut range. I think once I might have gotten a tadpole. No one said I was actually be making a fruit salad.
I am not sure if I am the only one who never likes to think about the "bad things". But my wife is all about watching those baby shows and learning about every little thing that could go wrong. Granted this is also the woman that has no idea how to handle the lack of hot water for a day or two, or when they would not let us bring in an unopened bag of peanuts into the hockey game. I love her, but she does not do change well. Or at least quick changes.
